About us

About Professional Insight

We are a New Zealand team of lawyers and licensed investigators. We investigate professional conduct concerns for regulators and boards, help organisations with their policies and procedures, and teach what we have learned to teachers, investigators and committee members.

How we work

Our investigators are enrolled barristers and solicitors of the High Court who hold Private Investigator licences. Between them they have worked for a number of New Zealand's professional regulators, as investigators, as in-house lawyers and as advisers to other investigators. Our chief executive convenes and sits on professional conduct committees for the Medical, Pharmacy and Nursing Councils and the Real Estate Authority.

We are familiar with the relevant New Zealand case law, and we use real cases to illustrate the range of conduct concerns that arise across different professions. Whether we are teaching or reviewing a policy, we focus on clear, practical guidance that helps professionals keep themselves and the people they work with safe.
